How can I return an item?

 

To return an item to Luna Parts for credit, contact us within 30 days of your original order date to request a Return Authorization. Luna Parts requires a Return Authorization to ensure your return credit is processed in an accurate and timely manner.

Which items are eligible for return?

 

All items must be returned within 60 days of the order date. All items must be in a brand new, resalable condition. All parts are inspected for signs of installation upon our receipt of them. (Please Note: Parts that have physical evidence of being installed and/or do NOT have original packaging, may receive 50% refund at our discretion.)

 

How long after I order can I return an item?

 

Within 30 days of receiving the part, let us know if it is not working for you. i.e. defective, damaged in shipping, not the right part sent, ordered the wrong part, etc.

 

You must first Contact Us to obtain a Return Authorization number and include it with your return.

 

Do I need to pay shipping when returning an item?

 

Yes. You are responsible for the return shipping expense when returning an item to Luna Parts, but you must get a Return Authorization.

If you ordered the wrong part without checking with us first you will be responsible for the cost of return.

Luna Parts will pay for shipping WHEN we sent the incorrect part, and the mistake was from us not the buyer.

 

 

Can I return an item without a Return Authorization number?

No.

A Return Authorization is required on Luna Parts returns.

Any return received without a Return Authorization is at your own risk (not receieving a REFUND) and Luna Parts

assumes no responsibility for the item(s).

 

When I will receive my refund?

 

When we've received and processed the return, we will refund the applicable amount minus any restocking and recovery Fees for the amount you paid for the item(s), plus any applicable sales tax. Returns are normally processed within 5 days; however your bank may not release the funds back to you for two weeks or more depending on their policies.

There is a 20% restocking fee on all parts that were shipped correctly (waived on exchanges), buyer pays return shipping.

Can I cancel an order?

You will need to contact us to cancel an order, it must be cancelled within 24hrs after it was placed.

Some orders are processed directly to the supplier to prevent processing delays, if so, we will not be able to be cancel them. You will need to REFUSE the package or write REFUSE on the parcel and put it in the mail and it will be sent back to us.

What happens if the part fails or is defective?

Most parts are covered for 60 days from original purchase date. If the part fail within that period, simply contact us and provide us with the following information, we will be happy to replace the defective item:

  1. Name
  2. Order number
  3. Model and serial number of the appliance

 

What happens if the part is received damaged?

You need to contact us within 3 business days after is received, we will be happy to replace the damaged item:
